Our Team

As President, James Dunfee is responsible for the management and operations of the company’s national office, industrial and retail portfolio. He also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for BPG Development Company, L.P. for which he is responsible for the financial reporting and accounting of the firm’s national development portfolio.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as Controller for O’Neill Properties Group where he created and maintained the group’s accounting and financial reporting functions. Prior to that, Mr. Dunfee served as the Assistant Controller for Berwind Property Group for eight years. He began his career as a Divisional Controller for the Toll Brothers in 1985.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University.

Broker-in-Charge, has 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and specializes in landlord representation, office and industrial leasing and investment property sales. Mike has won several awards for the largest industrial lease transactions.

Mike is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina.

Ken is responsible for leasing of the Raleigh/Durham portfolio. He has been handling the leasing of the portfolio for 26 years with over 2,000 lease and sales transactions.

Ken earned a BA from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Psychology and holds a Real estate licensed in North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. Ken has received the distinguished designation of both CCIM and SIOR in the office and industrial sectors.

Ken has been involved in several community and civic organizations including Trinity Rise Campaign at Trinity Academy and North Raleigh Ministries.

Colton is responsible for leasing Equus’ Raleigh/Durham portfolio, consisting of approximately 2.7 million square-feet of industrial and flex real estate. Prior to joining BPG Management in 2011, he was an associate on the industrial services team for Commercial Carolina in Raleigh.

Colton holds a BA in Business Administration from The Citadel and was a member of the football team from 2006-2010. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of North Carolina.

Colton attends Hayes Barton United Methodist Church where he is an active member of the contemporary worship band, and volunteers with Meals on Wheels of Wake County.
